May be you have heard that the Earth core is composed of iron-nickel alloy. The outer core is fluid while the inner core is solid. The iron of the inner core has a temperature circa 9,800°F and is solid because it is under pressure of some 3,500,000 atm
(51,000,000 Psi). Pressure increases the melting temperature.

Imagine a hot spot channel which feeds this iron alloy directly to your anvil.

I know blades have been made out of meteorites.
I mean I think it would be easier to go to the Kyper belt and tow an iron moon back. lol!
It's always fascinated me the we can't even scratch the surface of this planet.

The composition of iron meteorites is expected to be similar to Earth’s core iron.

Blacksmithing of iron meteorite into a knife or tool does not eliminate so called Widmanstatten patterns. Those patterns are de facto crystals of iron and nickel that formed as the result of the meteorite having cooled very slowly
(about 1°C = 1.8 °F per million years) under extremely high pressure.

Some 200 km north of Phoenix in the northern Arizona desert there is a well preserved Canyon Diabolo Crater known also as Barringer crater. This crater was produced by iron-nickel meteorite impact some 50 000 years ago.
The iron-nickel meteorite was circa 50 meters across and the impact energy was about 10 megatons. (For comparison, the most powerful ground US nuclear test Castle Bravo on Atoll Bikini had a yield circa 15 megatons of TNT equivalent).
Most of the meteorite vaporized upon impact but some 30 tons of iron meteorite fragments covered the surrounding plains.
