The new ATF10G is a joy to handle, economical and elegant.
Who hasn't upgraded yet, highly recommended. As of the next week will be available to Australian and New Zealand BESS sharpness tester owners for ordering through our website.

Thanks KG, glad you like it. It is, for certain, much easier, faster to use and more economical in terms of test media usage. Standard on all new instruments purchased forthwith and available as an accessory upgrade from our distributors, dealers and at the EOU on-line store. As we've said before, the fundamental design was Grepper's brainchild. Let's all encourage Grepper to keep on think'en.

I'm going to second/third/fourth the review comments. I thoroughly enjoy using the new media holder and fulcrum. I I was bothered by the amount of media used by the previous model and how awkward it was to secure on the loose side. I didn't like using a fulcrum at all because I didn't like what it did to the edge.
All that has gone away. I no longer think about how much media is being used as it is about as little waste as I can imagine. It is so easy to secure. I still prefer not using a fulcrum, but I'm getting more comfortable with the new one. Nice work. Rick

Thanks much Rick. Yes, we may have shot ourselves in the foot regarding test media sales but c'est la vie. What's the extra revenue from a canister of test media worth compared to having a happy customer? Glad to hear that you're better satisfied with the knife fulcrum now. Two for two, not a bad day.

I might say... YAY!!
Batting 1.000 is pretty good. Thanks so much for disseminating the credits, Mike. Very kind of you.

And thank you Mark for pitching in with your ideas. We had a feeling that the old design ATF might be presenting some issues for some users but never gave much of a thought to the Knife Fulcrum until you made your suggestion. We knew that the slot was a bit narrow for thicker edges and we fixed that with the new design. If you own an old style KF10 the slot can be widen easily with a hacksaw or other blade. Judging by the number of orders we have received for the new KF-10R there were more customers looking for improvement in the Knife Fulcrum than we realized. We really like using the new fulcrum with the silicon rubber insert here. Seems to give the edge a firmer base in the fulcrum which makes holding the knife blade vertical through the measurement process. Thanks to everyone, again, for your help.
