Sharpen to 120 grit?
#10
For what ever reason the belt grit (rotating belt) does creates a smother edge than some wet stone, EdgePro or what ever manual system of the same grit.

That 80 grit edge you speak to will work.

Most anything will work.

We are traveling a road where there are "road guides" all along the path,  we just need to stop and listen - they will point the direction.

All has been done, said, thought in love, sex, war and sharpening.

I, am impressed with your writings also, Jan, Ken S., Pete, Max, Mark, Dan, Mike and all the other contributors especially Thomas Lofvenmark to this EXchange.  That is why I know the EXchange will grow and live.

While adding the swivel consider this item: https://www.harborfreight.com/power-main...96618.html  especially with a Tormek

Harbor Freight has this also:https://www.harborfreight.com/momentary-power-foot-switch-96619.html

Depends on what you want maintained or momentary.
