That looks like a very interesting product Mr. Rupert.  Thanks for the reference.

Do you know if the abrasive is just bonded to the surface or thorough the material? 

Considering they can be dressed suggests that the abrasive is incorporated throughout the material.

Looks like they have different softness of rubber. I wonder how firm/soft the stuff is.
