I bought a cheap axe made in China and made a one hand throwing axe of it. The handke was red. Under the red paint was the handle white. I think it was made of fabriks (cloth) and some dorm of epoxy?
What I understand they use a form, whet the fabriks with epoxy and press down the wet fabriks in the form (mold)?
The axe, with yhe handle weigr around 350 gram if I remeber it correct. It so not bounce - and after thousends of throwings - no peoblem what so ever with the handle ?
I have another theowing axe with a handle of wood. That handle have I was foreced to change many times. Weigt about 300 grams.
