Throwing Axe Handles

I did some searching around for nylon axe handles because nylon ain't gunna break and it's pretty shock absorbing stuff that probably would not bounce like fiberglass.  No luck.  It seems almost all replacement handles are wood (hickory) or fiberglass.

Both Gerber and Fiskars make axes and claim "indestructible" handles.  The handles are some sort of nylon/glass composite.

they tried 2 different types and yes, they do not break, but the bounce back from the target is 3 times what the wood is, meaning the rookie throws and if it hits on the handle, it bounces back pass the thrower........NOT GOOD.

i have gone thru. 2 more vendors and their stock is gone, the USA is buying up many, i have a new vendor hopefully this week that can supply, ColdSteel claims their handles will be back in stock in oct or nov along with 1 other.
