We had a feeling that the old design ATF might be presenting some issues for some users but never gave much of a thought to the Knife Fulcrum until you made your suggestion. We knew that the slot was a bit narrow for thicker edges and we fixed that with the new design. If you own an old style KF10 the slot can be widen easily with a hacksaw or other blade. Judging by the number of orders we have received for the new KF-10R there were more customers looking for improvement in the Knife Fulcrum than we realized. We really like using the new fulcrum with the silicon rubber insert here. Seems to give the edge a firmer base in the fulcrum which makes holding the knife blade vertical through the measurement process. Thanks to everyone, again, for your help.
