Barkeeper’s Friend is amazing stuff. Just like their slogan says, “Once tried, always used”.
It is, hands down, the best cleaner of its type I have ever used. It removes rust and mineral buildup from porcelain like nothing else. It cleans stainless steel cookware and knives to sparkling new condition. It even removes rust stains from cement. I like the liquid for stainless steel, and the powder for just about everything else.
A lot of times all you have to do is wet a surface, sprinkle it on, wait 10 minutes and wash it off. Simply amazing.
I contains 7.9% - 9.5% oxalic acid and is a mild skin irritant so if you are into it for a while I’d wear gloves. I didn’t once and it chapped my hands.
It actually does exactly what these images show. I know. I used it to clean a heavily rust stained tub that looked exactly like some of these in the pics. It made the tub sparkling white.
