Yes, Mr. Mark, you are correct, the Table of Elements is not specifically intended for metallurgists as your chart, but rather general, for learning by playing. Nevertheless it is interesting to see e.g. that important alloying element manganese and cobalt are immediate neighbours of iron in the periodic table. It allows deeper insight in some material properties or uses of some elements. 
It is good for educative playing with children or grandchildren.
