On a recommendation from our distinguished member, Mr. Ken S, I picked up a 1200 grit CBN wheel from another Mr. Ken, at Woodturners Wonders.

The only thing I use a Tormek for is sharpening scissors. Hair shears to be exact. It works absolutely wonderfully! I don't see any reason why it wouldn't perform as well on knives, for those who use the Tormek. At about $200, it seems like a lot for the money IMHO.

I am pleased to learn that the 1200 grit CBN wheel worked so well for you. I always feel an ethical responsibility when I recommend things to friends.
