Microscope lighting - grepper - 02-05-2019 Mr. Sharpco, In your post, Second toothy edge, http://bessex.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=439&pid=4509#pid4509 you did a most excellent job with microscope lighting. Your images show great detail with reflection almost completely controlled. If you would be so kind, what was your lighting method? Directional and diffused? Some combination with top scope lighting? Great job with those images! RE: Microscope lighting - SHARPCO - 02-05-2019 (02-05-2019, 08:39 PM)grepper Wrote: Mr. Sharpco, In your post, Second toothy edge, Sure, grepper I was lucky. I only used a microscope LED at 70~80% brightness. It was difficult to get such a good image on other knives. But I can tell you interesting method. Look at this. [attachment=831] This is Surefire sidekick keyring light. I use it when I feel a problem with lighting. It is interesting because the image changes greatly depending on the direction of beam. Looks like you have a good handle on how important and how much difference lighting makes for getting good images. Great job Mr. Sharpco!
