4000th Post Challenge - EOU - 01-13-2018 We are hereby challenging Mark Reich, head to head, mano y mano, to a 2000th post challenge. Whoever wins gets a personal check for $3.00 drawn on the West Bank of the Mississippi. You snuck the 1400th out from under us but now you're going down! RE: 2000th Post Challenge - Mark Reich - 01-13-2018 Gee, I'll have to figure out where you find these stats. Also, I may ponder the likelihood that I'm running off at the keyboard to excess. RE: 2000th Post Challenge - Mark Reich - 04-13-2018 In observance of "Extrey Observant Day", I hereby maketh the 500th post on the Bladesmithing Forum! Sorry EOU, the door was wide open....
RE: 2000th Post Challenge - EOU - 04-13-2018 That reallllly makes us mad Mark! It's our own fault though for being asleep at the wheel. What a great forum with really interesting stuff by Mark, Wade et al. Thanks a bunch for your efforts and, we suppose...congratulations on your 500th post! RE: 2000th Post Challenge - Mark Reich - 04-13-2018 Kind modesty in such a critical, near life or death situation. You are an oak, Mike. RE: 4000th Post Challenge - EOU - 05-24-2018 Decided to update this thread since not only 2000 posts have gone by but 3000 as well. RE: 4000th Post Challenge - Mark Reich - 05-24-2018 It seems the whole Forum is looking pretty progressive, so *Thank You* to EOU and Everyone for your contributions.
RE: 4000th Post Challenge - EOU - 11-05-2018 Are you up to this again Mark? This time the winner gets one free night's accommodation at the Buffalo Chip Campground near Sturgis. Ever been there? RE: 4000th Post Challenge - Mark Reich - 11-05-2018 I'm very sure I'll never win another "notable statistic" race, Mike. I retired off the winnings from the first one, so I'm content letting everyone else have their share. Not only do I spend the best two weeks of the year in Buffalo Chip South Dakota, the most populous city in SD (for a week), I have keys to the place. All your accommodations will be taken care of, no matter what kind of trouble you might get into.
RE: 4000th Post Challenge - Ken S - 11-06-2018 Several years ago, I drove by Sturgis during bike week. I was en route to a photography workshop in Montana. Looking way down the Interstate, the riders looked like very fast moving ants. The "ants" I met along the way were all all nice guys, having fun and making the residents of Sturgis very prosperous. Kudos to Sturgis' mayor! Ken |
